Xochiquetzal

Inspired by Aztec mytholigy, highley agressive solitary animals.
Often teratorial, they deffend there 'kingdoms' with there life. They posess a mane of spines with some reachinh 2ft in length. When threatened there spines stand on end and break off on penetration to skin and relese a fast acting sedative.
There cry can only be compared to scraping metal witch has a distinctive bassy quality not found in any other animal.
They have a hard club-like grouth composed of thick skin on the end of there tail witch can be used in a bulwhip like motion when rutting. They can eat digest nearly anything and convert it into energy needed to suport there complex circulation system.
